DIY longbow kit

Contains a selected ash stave roughed out to a basic longbow template, sufficient material to make a longbow string, a stringer, mini serving tool with serving thread and a cube of beeswax.

Horn nocks option will include 2 solid pieces of horn pre-drilled, ready for shaping.

Or choose to have the stringer and string making materials without the stave.

It is reasonable to expect a D-section longbow of anything up to 45# draw weight from the stave. However, you will need to have the relevant knowledge, skills and equipment in order to make your own longbow using this kit, no instructions or guarantee of success are included.

For those wishing to make something other than a D section longbow, you can choose to have the stave without tapers.
