A custom made garment for use over an arming doublet under late medieval harness, such as brigandine or plate. Keeping weight down and alleviating the need to stitch your voiders to your doublet or gambeson. Reinforced eyelets included for attaching spaulders.
Supplied with pin riveted mixed with solid rings flat ring maille.
Made to order, allow 16 weeks for production.

My bolero was made to match my arming doublet. I’ve always found it a challenge adding new components to my existing kit and ironing out any snags, but Julie and Bart really went the extra mile to make sure everything worked perfectly with my doublet and arm harness.

Very nice bolero
I got my mail bolero even though I had planned to just sew patches of mail onto my doublet myself, but after also getting my mail skirt and standard from quiverstock I was so happy with it that I decided to also buy a bolero from them.
Once again it is really well made product that fits me very nicely. The colour match between my doublet and bolero is also really good. I would highly recommend this product 😀
